Bob:
Your comment regarding unionized public sector workers is so off-kilter as to make my blood boil. As a Navy civil servant, amongst 300 plus civil servants here at Naval Air Station Sigonella, I can count on one hand the number of individual earning the salaries you cite. The average salary here is between $50k - 70k per annum, not in the $100k plus column you cite. And when I worked at Naval Air Warfare Center Orlando, of the 700 civil servants, most being scientists / engineers, the average salary was approx. $75 - 85k per annum. And that was in 2009 no less! We have had our wages FROZEN for the past three years, by the way.
So get your facts straight BEFORE posting. The salary numbers you quote (or manufacture) for unionized public sector workers are way off-base (and insulting).
Obama is to blame? Read a chart:
Bob,
You must make a lot more money than me? I am not quite rich enough to be a Teabagger or a Repubican yet. Why are you defending the rich? I don't know if you remember the Clinton years accurately. As I recall, the United States had it's best growth period since WWll. If the Bush tax cuts for the rich are so great, why is it that we had ZERO job growth under the Bush administration. Why is there such a wide gap between the rich and the midle class. I cant believe that people side with the Teabaggers and the Republicans on this. That includes lower income families that I guess are single issue voters. I guess their job and money is not one of their issues. It's like chickens voting for Col. Sanders! WAKE THE F**K UP ALREADY! The middle class is what drives our economy and the world's. Unfortunately, the rich and corporations run the country and it's always the candidate with the most money usually wins.
bob-1805084..in your upside-down comment you said President Clinton.....bla bla bla. President Bush bla bla bla. here comes the big one Obama. not President Obama? like it or not he is your President. get use to it. 4 more years. 4 more years.
